The ABC's of Salvation

Is there a God? Does he care about me and my problems? Are you tired of the struggle of trying to make it through life on your own? Are you disillusioned with life? Would you like to know that there is more to life than this?  If you said yes to any of these questions, you've come to the right place.

The good news is that there is more to life than what you see or struggle with on a daily basis. That something is Jesus. If you haven't invited Jesus Christ into your life in a personal way and you would like to do that now, it's a simple as ABC:

  • A: Admit that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God". (Romans 3:23 NIV)
  • B: "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved". (Acts 16:31 NIV)
  • C: Confess.  "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins, and purify us from all unrighteousness". (1John 1:9 NIV)

  • You can say a very simple prayer right where you are, right now, like this:

God, I admit that I have sinned against You and fallen short of Your standard of perfection.  I ask You to forgive me of my sins in Jesus' name.  I believe that Jesus died for me, and rose again so that my sins would be forgiven and I could spend eternity with You.  I ask You to come into my life and to take control; Be my Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name. Amen.

If you would like to pray with someone about your decision to follow Christ, you can call us at (651) 439-7238.

The next step is to find a Bible-believing fellowship where you can find teaching and support. If you happen to be in Calvary's vicinity, we'd love to see you here and to have you become a part of the Calvary family.  God bless you!
